Portrait of an Artist

Folks, I've done something I've been thinking about for a while now, which is to make a new Your House, My House profile picture in the style of the comic itself: a self portrait. I've been extremely busy with life and school, but things are finally starting to calm down, and I was finally able to do it, and do it the way I've always wanted to.
This is a depiction of my writing/drawing station in Alaska, where I do all of my work when I'm there. It has my drafting table, complete with pen cup on one side and drawer base full of markers (color-coded, of course) on the other. It has my Gaiam yoga-ball chair. Even down to my grey jeans (or my Jean Greys?), my cozy blue plaid shirt, and my black-tipped grey ankle socks — all replicated exactly from real life. Sure, it's missing my plush donkey Perez, and my claddagh ring is on the wrong hand (technically speaking, you shouldn't even be able to see it. Total rookie move), but I feel like it adequately represents my process and my environment when I'm working on the comic.
Which is to say...
...I am working on the comic. Your House, My House is back.
