Blue Owl

Blue Owl is the instrumental Dance & DJ project created by Alaskan composer, producer, and cartoonist Cooper Rae Blankenship. Inspired by the instrumental productions of Adam Young and Armin Van Buuren, Blankenship began producing tracks of his own in his spare time in 2013, which were later developed into his 2021 debut release 'Words.'
In intervening time, Blankenship has kept busy. Between studying at Berklee College of Music and playing with his band Path to Bantry, he has been hard at work on a second Blue Owl album — this one much darker and far more mysterious. While the title and release date are yet to be announced, three singles have already been released in support of the album — 'Fire in the Hole,' 'Needle in a Haystack,' and 'Fly in the Ointment.'
